Raised in rabbit against human SENP1, this polyclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated reagent and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples.

SENP1 (SUMO-specific protease 1) is a nuclear cysteine protease that catalyzes deconjugation of SUMO1, SUMO2, and SUMO3 modifications from substrate proteins. It participates in maturation of SUMO precursors and recycling of SUMO from modified targets, influencing transcription factor activity, chromatin regulation, and stress-response signaling. Anti-SENP1 reagents are used to characterize protease expression by immunoblotting of cell lysates and to localize SENP1 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, supporting research into SUMO pathway dynamics, androgen-responsive gene regulation, and tumor biology.

The unconjugated antibody is presented in a single-use vial format and is intended for research use only.
