SEMA4G (Semaphorin 4G) is a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the semaphorin family of guidance molecules, implicated in immune cell signaling and neuronal pathfinding. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples.

The antibody recognizes endogenous SEMA4G in cell lysates and tissue sections, supporting studies of immune receptor signaling, T-cell costimulatory pathways, and neuroscience research into semaphorin-mediated axon guidance. Its unconjugated format permits flexible pairing with a secondary antibody labeled to a chosen fluorophore, enzyme, or biotin, depending on the detection platform in use.

For western blot applications, prepare cleared lysates in standard RIPA buffer and probe membranes at a working dilution determined by titration. For immunohistochemistry, heat-induced antigen retrieval on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections typically improves signal in brain and lymphoid tissue. Store the vial refrigerated between experiments and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity over the working life of the reagent.
