SELPLG (Selectin P Ligand, also known as PSGL-1 or CD162) is a heavily glycosylated type I transmembrane sialomucin expressed on leukocytes, where it serves as the principal ligand for P-, E-, and L-selectins during the tethering and rolling phases of immune cell recruitment on activated endothelium. The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent targets this adhesion molecule and is supplied as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated rabbit IgG, validated for Western blot detection of human SELPLG.

Because PSGL-1 engagement drives the earliest adhesive events in leukocyte extravasation, antibodies against SELPLG are commonly used to study neutrophil and lymphocyte trafficking, inflammatory cell recruitment, leukocyte rolling assays, and downstream selectin-mediated signaling. As an unconjugated primary, this polyclonal offers flexibility to pair with HRP-, fluorescent-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents chosen by the end user.

For handling, store the vial refrigerated for short-term use; for longer projects, aliquot and freeze to limit freeze-thaw damage and preserve antibody activity across many experiments. This reagent is reactive with human SELPLG, raised in rabbit, and is the polyclonal isotype IgG.
