Anti-SELL Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody was raised against Selectin L (SELL), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein also designated CD62L, LECAM-1, or LAM-1. SELL is displayed on the surface of most circulating leukocytes—including lymphocytes, neutrophils, and monocytes—and supports the initial rolling and tethering of these cells on vascular endothelium via binding to carbohydrate ligands such as GlyCAM-1, CD34, and MAdCAM-1. The reagent is supplied unconjugated as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, and is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The 50% glycerol cryoprotectant allows long-term storage frozen at -20 °C, and aliquoting is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles when the vial is repeatedly opened.
