Raised in rabbit against the SEC23IP target, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com is validated for western blot detection of the human protein. SEC23IP, also referenced in the literature as p125, is a peripheral component of the COPII coat complex that operates at endoplasmic reticulum exit sites and contributes to vesicle trafficking between the ER and the Golgi apparatus. Supplied as 200 µL of liquid reagent, the antibody is offered in a format compatible with standard immunoblotting workflows and is intended for research use only. Human reactivity is confirmed by the manufacturer, and the polyclonal design allows recognition of multiple epitopes across the target, an advantage when probing expression in varied tissues or cell lines. Typical protocols involve SDS-PAGE separation of cell lysates, transfer to nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes, blocking, and overnight incubation with the primary antibody, followed by appropriate HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary reagents. Aliquot upon receipt to preserve the stock and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the working solution. The unconjugated configuration gives laboratories flexibility to pair the reagent with the detection chemistry their experiment requires.
