SEC23IP, also known as p125, is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident protein that partners with the SEC23 subunit of COPII coat complexes and supports vesicle budding at ER exit sites. This polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and validated for western blot detection of human SEC23IP in research lysates.

Supplied unconjugated as 100 µl of IgG per vial, the antibody integrates into standard immunoblotting workflows and pairs with anti-rabbit HRP or fluorescence secondary reagents. Reactivity is documented for human SEC23IP; cross-reactivity with other species has not been demonstrated by the manufacturer.

For best results, store at -20 °C and prepare working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles; diluted working stocks may be kept refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use. Researchers studying COPII-mediated trafficking, ER-to-Golgi transport, and membrane biogenesis use this reagent to probe SEC23IP expression in cell lysates and fractionated membrane preparations.

Antibodies.com offers this polyclonal primary antibody as part of its SEC23IP research portfolio, supporting investigations into vesicle trafficking biology and ER-associated protein sorting.
