SEC14L2 (also known as tocopherol-associated protein 1, or TAP) is a cytosolic lipid-binding protein that interacts with α-tocopherol and phosphatidylinositol, contributing to intracellular lipid transport and vitamin E handling. This unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, was raised against the SEC14L2 target and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows in human and mouse samples. The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes within the protein, which is useful when characterizing expression patterns in liver, testis, and other tissues where SEC14L2 is reported to be enriched. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, sufficient for several immunoblot membranes or tissue sections from a single aliquot. Researchers investigating hepatocarcinogenesis, lipid metabolism, or vitamin E-related signaling pathways commonly use anti-SEC14L2 reagents to probe endogenous expression and subcellular distribution in fixed and lysed specimens. The reagent is unconjugated, making it compatible with secondary antibody labeling strategies chosen by the end user.
