Anti-SDHB Antibody

Produced in rabbit and distributed by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody targets the iron-sulfur subunit B of succinate dehydrogenase (SDHB), the ~28 kDa catalytic component of mitochondrial respiratory Complex II. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the 100 µl vial supports routine western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is widely used in tumor pathology to flag SDH-deficient lesions, including paraganglioma, pheochromocytoma, SDH-deficient GIST, and SDHB-mutated renal cell carcinoma, where loss of SDHB expression by IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue is the standard screening readout. Researchers also apply it to western blot confirmation of Complex II assembly and to track oxidative phosphorylation status in cell culture and in vivo models. The 50% glycerol buffer allows storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw damage between uses, and the sodium azide preservative prevents microbial contamination of the vial during repeated handling.
