Anti-SCYL1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum from Antibodies.com, this reagent targets SCYL1 (SCY1-like pseudokinase 1), a catalytically inactive kinase implicated in COPI-mediated Golgi-to-ER retrograde trafficking and in hepatocyte and neuronal homeostasis. The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows and recognizes the human protein, making it a useful reagent for studies of intracellular transport, vesicle biology, and the molecular pathology of CALFAN syndrome (cholestasis, acute liver failure, and neurodegeneration), the autosomal recessive condition linked to biallelic loss-of-function SCYL1 variants.
