Anti-SCTR Antibody

Manufactured and distributed by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the secretin receptor (SCTR), also known by the synonyms SCT-R and Secretin receptor. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from human SCTR, and the antibody has been affinity purified using that immunogen to deliver a preparation that recognises the endogenous level of total SCTR. Supplied as an unconjugated, liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is provided at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL and is available in a 50 µl pack size. It is intended for use in Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and has been validated for reactivity with human and mouse samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of secretin receptor biology in cell lines and primary cultures. As a polyclonal host Rabbit antibody, the reagent offers broad epitope coverage, which is helpful when probing conformational or post-translationally modified forms of SCTR. For shipping and storage, the vial is dispatched at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
