Anti-SCNN1G Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the epithelial sodium channel gamma subunit (SCNN1G), this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com supports detection of the channel in human, mouse, and rat samples by Western blot and immunohistochemistry. The gamma subunit contributes to the heterotrimeric ENaC complex that mediates amiloride-sensitive sodium reabsorption across apical membranes of salt-absorbing epithelia, including the kidney distal nephron, airway surface, and distal colon.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, allowing direct dilution into standard immunoblotting buffers or antigen retrieval protocols. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on SCNN1G, useful when probing tissues where the channel is expressed at low copy number or where post-translational modifications vary between samples.
