Anti-SCD Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting SCD is offered by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated reagent is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) applications, reacting with Human, Mouse and Rat samples according to the manufacturer's specifications.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in Human SCD, and the polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of SCD protein. The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, and purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 42 kDa.
