Anti-SC6A6 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the SC6A6 transporter (also known as the taurine transporter, SLC6A6) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human SC6A6 and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring selective recognition of endogenous levels of the total SC6A6 protein. It is provided unconjugated in a PBS formulation (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺, pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the host species is rabbit with polyclonal clonality and IgG isotype. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against human samples, making the reagent suitable for studies of taurine uptake and related transporter biology in human tissues and cell lines. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity.
