Anti-SARS Antibody

A Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against Seryl-tRNA synthetase (also designated SARS), unconjugated and supplied as a liquid preparation. According to the manufacturer, the immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–300 of human SARS (NP_006504.2), and the reagent is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide. The concentration is described as lot specific.

Reactivity is reported for Human, Mouse and Rat samples, with validated applications in Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence. The manufacturer lists a molecular weight of 59 kDa and recommends the following working dilutions: WB at 1:500–1:2,000, IHC at 1:50–1:200, and ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt, aliquoting and storage at –20°C is advised, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
