JNK (c-Jun N-terminal kinase), also called stress-activated protein kinase (SAPK), is a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family that links extracellular stress signals to downstream transcription factor activity. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as a 100 µl unconjugated aliquot, giving labs flexibility to pair it with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies of their own choosing. The antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry and cross-reacts with endogenous SAPK/JNK in human, mouse, and rat samples. The Ab-183 designation identifies a specific antigen sequence within the SAPK/JNK protein that was used to raise this polyclonal antibody. JNK signaling is implicated in cytokine-driven inflammation, neuronal stress responses, and metabolic regulation, making this reagent useful for studies in cell signaling, neurobiology, and inflammation research. For storage, keep the vial frozen at -20°C; aliquot on first use to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody performance across multiple western blot and IHC experiments.
