Anti-SAMHD1 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies range, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against SAMHD1, the dNTP triphosphohydrolase implicated in innate immunity and dNTP pool regulation. The antibody detects endogenous levels of SAMHD1 protein and is validated for Western Blotting (WB) and ELISA in human samples, making it well suited to expression studies and basic immunology research. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human SAMHD1, and the reagent is offered in a 50 µl liquid format at 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It is supplied unconjugated, hosted in rabbit, and purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, which helps to minimize off-target binding. For handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
