Manufactured under the Antibodies.com brand and distributed by AFMS, this mouse monoclonal reagent targets the common lipopolysaccharide (LPS) core region shared across Salmonellae, making it a broad-range tool for serogroup-independent detection of this Gram-negative pathogen. Supplied as a 1 mg aliquot of Protein A–purified antibody in an unconjugated format, the reagent is raised in mouse (clone-derived monoclonal) and is of the IgG2b isotype, supporting low-background pairing with anti-mouse IgG secondary reagents in immunoassays. The antibody has been validated for ELISA and IFA workflows, with suggested starting working ranges that match the standard for Salmonella core LPS reagents (typically 1:20–1:200 for ELISA and 1:10–1:50 for IFA). It reacts with all Salmonella O-serogroups tested (A, B, C1, C2, D, E1, E3, E4, F, G1, G2) and shows no cross-reactivity against E. coli (mix), Klebsiella, Citrobacter, Pseudomonas, Yersinia, Shigella, Proteus, or Legionella. The purified monoclonal is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide as preservative, with a typical protein concentration near1 mg/mL. For routine use the antibody should be stored at 2–8 °C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at −20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The product is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. A90% purity specification is given by Protein A chromatography, consistent with the Antibodies.com primary antibody quality standard.
