Supplied by Antibodies.com as a Protein A purified mouse monoclonal reagent, this IgG2a antibody targets the common LPS (lipopolysaccharide) core shared across Salmonella serogroups and is unconjugated for maximum flexibility in assay design. Each 1 mg vial is formulated at approximately 100 µg/mL in 0.01 M phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide as preservative, with no added stabilizing proteins. The host species is mouse, clonality is monoclonal, and the product is validated for ELISA (suggested range 1:20–1:200) and IFA (1:10–1:50), with broader IHC compatibility reported for related clones. Reactivity has been confirmed positive against all Salmonella O-serogroups tested (A, B, C1, C2, D, E1, E3, E4, F, G1, G2), and negative against E. coli, Klebsiella, Citrobacter, Pseudomonas, Yersinia, Shigella, Proteus, and Legionella, making it a broad screening tool for Salmonella detection. Purity exceeds 90% following protein A chromatography from ascites or culture supernatant. For routine use the antibody should be stored at 2–8 °C; for longer-term storage aliquots are kept at −20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Due to the sodium azide content, the reagent is intended for research use only and must be handled by trained staff.
