Anti-Salmonella LPS Core Antibody

Designed for the detection of the conserved lipopolysaccharide (LPS) core shared across Salmonella serogroups, this mouse IgG2a monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a Protein A-purified, unconjugated liquid antibody at a concentration of ≥1 mg/mL in a 1 mg pack size. The antibody is reactive with all Salmonella O-serogroups tested — A, B, C1, C2, D, E1, E3, E4, F, G1 and G2 — while showing no cross-reactivity against E. coli (mix), Klebsiella, Citrobacter, Pseudomonas, Yersinia, Shigella, Proteus or Legionella, making it a broadly useful tool for Salmonella-specific screening. It is validated for ELISA and IFA workflows, with suggested working dilutions of approximately 1:20–1:200 for ELISA and 1:10–1:50 for IFA; it also pairs effectively as a capture or conjugate reagent in LPS-extraction sandwich ELISA formats. The product is formulated in 0.01 M phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide as preservative, with a reported purity of ≥90%, and should be stored refrigerated at 2–8 °C without freezing to preserve activity.
