Anti-SAH Antibody [839-6]

This mouse monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, targets S-Adenosylhomocysteine (SAH) and is identified by clone 839-6, raised against S-Adenosylhomocysteine conjugated to BSA. It is of the IgG2a isotype, unconjugated, and supplied as a liquid purified by affinity chromatography. The intended applications are cELISA, flow cytometry (FC), and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with scientific validation images provided for IHC and cELISA.

Cross-reactivity with related compounds is reported as: S-Adenosylhomocysteine 100%, S-Adenosylmethionine ~1.3%, Adenosine <1%, Homocysteine <1%, L-Cysteine <1%, Glutathione <1%, L-Cystathionine <1%, Methylthioadenosine (MTA) <5%, ADP <1%, and ATP <1%. Purity is reported as >95%, with recommended dilutions of cELISA 1:30,000–1:36,000, FC 1:300, and IHC 1:300.

The antibody is formulated in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 10 mg/ml BSA, or in an alternative formulation also containing 50% glycerol. It should be stored at 4°C, with long-term storage at -20°C.
