Anti-SAFB Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against SAFB, supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and has been affinity purified.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, and ICC/IF 1:50–1:200. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–200 of human SAFB (NP_001188267.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 155 kDa.

The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C on arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. It is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Supporting validation images include Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines at 1:1,000 dilution with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, a goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST blocking buffer, ECL Basic Kit detection and 1 s exposure; immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human colon tissue at 1:200 (40× lens) with 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) antigen retrieval; and immunofluorescence of U-2 OS cells at 1:100, with DAPI used to stain cell nuclei (blue).
