Anti-SAFB-1 Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this ready-to-use mouse monoclonal reagent targets the human scaffold attachment factor B1 (SAFB-1), a DNA-binding nuclear protein that associates with scaffold/matrix attachment region (S/MAR) elements and is implicated in chromatin organisation and estrogen receptor signalling. Each vial contains 50 µl of purified antibody supplied in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) with 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the protein has been affinity-purified from mouse ascites by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to a purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The antibody is unconjugated and is of the IgG isotype (mouse), and was raised against recombinant full-length human SAFB-1 as the immunogen. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and Immunocytochemistry (ICC) applications, where it detects a band at the predicted 130 kDa size, and it specifically recognises endogenous levels of SAFB-1 without cross-reacting with related proteins. Reactivity has been confirmed for human samples only, and the reagent is intended for research use only — not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
