Anti-SAE1 Antibody

From the Primary Antibodies portfolio at Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets SUMO-activating enzyme subunit 1 (SAE1), the catalytic E1 component of the heterodimeric SUMO E1 activating complex that pairs with SAE2/UBA2 to activate SUMO1, SUMO2, and SUMO3 in an ATP-dependent manner prior to substrate conjugation.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, the unconjugated antibody supports studies of SUMOylation-dependent processes including DNA damage response, transcriptional regulation, and cell cycle progression, where altered SAE1 expression has been linked to multiple solid tumor types.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal preparation from a rabbit host.
