Anti-RyR2 (phospho-S2808) Antibody

Serine 2808 is a major protein kinase A substrate downstream of beta-adrenergic signaling, and aberrant phosphorylation at this site has been linked to pathological sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium leak, contractile dysfunction in failing myocardium, and catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, in a 100 µl vial, and has been validated for immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat tissue sections, supporting applications in cardiac muscle pathology, arrhythmia research, and excitation-contraction coupling studies.
