This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets RUVBL2, the AAA+ ATPase also known as Reptin, TIP48, or RUVB2. RUVBL2 is an obligate partner of the paralogous ATPase Pontin (RUVBL1), with the two proteins assembling into ring-shaped heterohexamers that hydrolyze ATP to support diverse cellular functions. Researchers studying chromatin remodeling, the DNA damage response, and transcriptional regulation rely on this antibody to detect endogenous RUVBL2 in human, mouse, and rat samples by Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation.

The unconjugated format leaves labeling chemistry to the investigator, allowing secondary antibodies and detection systems to be selected on a per-assay basis. As a polyclonal reagent, the antibody recognizes multiple epitopes on RUVBL2 and is well-suited for qualitatively tracking expression, subcellular localization, and incorporation into multiprotein complexes such as the INO80 chromatin remodeler, the NuA4 acetyltransferase complex, and the PAQosome. The 50 µl volume is supplied in a vial and supports extended use across multiple workflows. RUVBL2 is broadly expressed across tissues, with particularly high expression in testis and colon, and is consistently overexpressed in multiple cancer types, making this antibody useful for both basic mechanistic and translational research use only.
