Anti-RUVBL2 Antibody

RUVBL2 (also called Reptin or TIP48) is a conserved AAA+ family ATPase with intrinsic DNA helicase activity, studied for its role in chromatin remodeling, ribosome biogenesis, snoRNP assembly, c-Myc and β-catenin-driven transcription, and DNA damage response. Elevated expression is reported in hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal tumors, and other solid cancers, correlating with proliferation and poor prognosis.

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated IgG fraction in a 100 µL vial, raised against a fusion protein of human RUVBL2 and antigen affinity purified. The antibody detects endogenous total RUVBL2 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation. On Western blots of HeLa, HEK293, NIH/3T3, and rat liver lysates, the reagent produces a band near 51 kDa consistent with full-length RUVBL2, with signal present in both cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions. Immunohistochemistry is supported on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and endogenous RUVBL2 can be immunoprecipitated from whole-cell extracts for mapping interactions with chromatin remodeling partners such as RUVBL1 within the INO80 and TIP60 complexes.
