Sourced from the Antibodies.com catalogue, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against RUVBL1 (also known as TIP49A, Pontin 52, INO80H and ECP-54) and is intended for the detection of endogenous total RUVBL1 protein in human samples. The antibody is produced in rabbit, purified by antigen affinity chromatography, and supplied at 1 mg/mL in a 100 µL volume of pH 7.4 phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide and 40% glycerol, with the immunoglobulin fraction corresponding to rabbit IgG. It is unconjugated, allowing it to be paired with a secondary reporter of the user's choice, and is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. On Western blot the reagent has been benchmarked on an 8% SDS-PAGE gel using 40 µg of lysate from Hela, Jurkat, HepG2, K562 and 231 cell lines at a 1/400 primary dilution, with a goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary at 1/8000; for IHC, paraffin-embedded human liver cancer and prostate cancer tissue sections have been stained at a 1/20 dilution. Reactivity is reported for human samples, and the immunogen used for immunization is a fusion protein of human RUVBL1. The vial is shipped at 4 °C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity. Provided as a 100 µL ready-to-use aliquot at 1 mg/mL, this polyclonal antibody gives research laboratories a flexible format for routine Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows targeting RUVBL1.
