RUVBL1 (also called Pontin or TIP49) is a highly conserved ~50 kDa AAA+ family ATPase that assembles into hexameric ring complexes with its paralog RUVBL2 (Reptin). Together they serve as essential scaffolds for the INO80 and TIP60 chromatin-remodeling complexes and contribute to snoRNP biogenesis, Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, the DNA damage response, and mitotic progression. Dysregulated RUVBL1 expression has been documented across multiple tumor types, where it is investigated as a marker of proliferation and a candidate therapeutic target.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human RUVBL1 and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is supplied as 100 ul of polyclonal serum, ready for immunoblotting of the endogenous ~50 kDa band, IHC staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues, and IF localization studies in cultured cells. Aliquot upon receipt and store refrigerated to preserve activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
