Sourced through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human RUNX2 (Runt-related transcription factor 2), enabling selective detection of endogenous RUNX2 protein across validated samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide; upon receipt, it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validated applications include Western Blot (WB) and ELISA, and the antibody has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of osteoblast differentiation, chondrogenesis and bone-related signalling pathways. Purification is performed by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring minimal cross-reactivity and consistent lot-to-lot performance. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
