Anti-RUNX2 Antibody

This affinity-purified polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is a rabbit-derived antibody raised against RUNX2, a key transcription factor involved in osteoblast differentiation and bone formation. The antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated as a liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It is unconjugated and detects endogenous levels of RUNX2 protein by recognising a synthesised peptide derived from the internal region of the human target. Recommended applications include Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, making it well suited to expression studies and tissue-localisation work in both cell and tissue samples. Reactivity has been confirmed in human and mouse samples, which covers the two most commonly used model systems for skeletal biology research. For handling, the product should be shipped and stored at 4 °C upon delivery, then aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
