Reticulon 4 Receptor (RTN4R), widely known as Nogo Receptor 1 (NgR1), is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored leucine-rich repeat protein that transduces myelin-derived inhibitory signals from ligands including Nogo-66, myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG), and oligodendrocyte myelin glycoprotein (OMgp). It is a focal molecule in research on axonal regeneration failure after central nervous system injury, and in studies of synaptic plasticity relevant to neurodegenerative and demyelinating disease models.

This unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). It recognizes endogenous RTN4R in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational work that bridges rodent spinal cord injury or stroke models with human tissue analysis. Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of antibody reagent, and the polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognition across multiple epitopes of the receptor — useful when probing truncated isoforms or post-translationally modified forms relevant to NgR1 signaling complex studies that involve the co-receptors LINGO-1 and p75NTR/TROY.
