RTKN (Rhotekin) is a Rho-GTPase effector protein that binds specifically to active GTP-bound RhoA, anchoring it at the membrane and propagating downstream signaling. It plays a central role in cytoskeletal organization, cell migration, focal adhesion assembly, and the RhoA cascade. Aberrant RTKN expression has been associated with hematologic malignancies and certain solid tumors, making it a relevant target in cancer biology, cytoskeletal research, and signaling pathway studies.
This unconjugated polyclonal antibody was raised in rabbit and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence on human samples. The reagent is supplied at 100 µl per vial, supporting immunoblotting of cell lysates and immunofluorescence staining of fixed cells.
From Antibodies.com, the reagent delivers a polyclonal response that recognizes endogenous RTKN, enabling reproducible detection in cell adhesion, Rho GTPase, and cytoskeletal remodeling workflows.
