Rhotekin (RTKN) is a well-characterized downstream effector of the Rho family of small GTPases, binding selectively to the active GTP-bound forms of RhoA, RhoB, and RhoC. This unconjugated polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit, recognizes endogenous rhotekin in human, mouse, and rat samples and is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3. Researchers studying cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, focal adhesion turnover, or Rho GTPase signaling commonly apply it in western blot workflows, where it produces a band consistent with full-length rhotekin under standard reducing SDS-PAGE conditions. The reagent is shipped ready to dilute into immunoblotting protocols. For longer-term storage, aliquot the antibody and freeze to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles that can degrade IgG, while short-term handling at refrigerated temperatures is appropriate for active working stocks. Because the antibody is not pre-conjugated, it pairs readily with HRP- or fluorophore-labeled anti-rabbit secondary reagents chosen by the end user.
