RREB1 (Ras Responsive Element Binding Protein 1) is a zinc-finger transcription factor that binds RAS-responsive elements (RRE) in target gene promoters and mediates downstream signaling from the RAS/MAPK pathway. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody, raised against an epitope surrounding residue E597 of human RREB1, is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2.

The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been confirmed to react with both human and mouse RREB1. As a polyclonal reagent, it recognizes multiple epitopes across the targeted region of the protein, which can be advantageous when detecting full-length endogenous RREB1 in tissue lysates and fixed sections.

Each vial contains 100 µl of the stock formulation, sufficient for multiple WB or IHC experiments after dilution into blocking buffer. RREB1 is widely studied in the context of colorectal cancer, thyroid carcinoma, and smooth muscle differentiation, where its transcriptional regulation of p16/CDKN2A, calcitonin, and other downstream targets has been linked to disease progression and EMT programs.

Store refrigerated in the dark; the sodium azide in the buffer inhibits microbial contamination during repeated use. Aliquot upon first thaw and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity. For research use only.
