Anti-RRAGC Antibody

The polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against RRAGC, a small GTPase that forms heterodimeric Rag complexes with RagA or RagB to relay amino acid availability to mTORC1 at the lysosomal surface. When the RagA/B:GTP–RagC:GDP heterodimer engages the lysosome-bound Ragulator scaffold, mTORC1 is recruited from the cytosol and activated by the Rheb GTPase, coupling nutrient status to translational control. This unconjugated rabbit IgG reagent is supplied as a 200 µl vial and reacts with endogenous RagC in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research in nutrient sensing, autophagy regulation, and cancer cell metabolism.

Application suitability spans western blot analysis of whole-cell lysates and tissue extracts, immunohistochemistry on fixed sections, and immunofluorescence for subcellular localization. The polyclonal format provides epitope diversity across the RagC protein, enabling robust detection of overexpressed and endogenous targets.
