Anti-RPS7 Antibody

RPS7 encodes a core component of the 40S ribosomal subunit that contributes to ribosome biogenesis and cytoplasmic protein translation. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and recognizes endogenous RPS7 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody supports western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Common applications include profiling ribosomal subunit composition in cancer cell lines, studying p53 pathway cross-talk (RPS7 has been reported to bind MDM2 and influence p53 stability), and investigating Diamond-Blackfan anemia, a rare ribosomopathy in which RPS7 mutations have been identified.
