RPS6KA3, also known as RSK2, is a serine/threonine kinase within the MAPK/ERK signaling cascade, and Antibodies.com offers this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit for research applications. The unconjugated IgG is supplied as 200 µl in a single-use vial and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human and mouse samples.

RPS6KA3 contributes to transcriptional control, cell-cycle progression, and neuronal development, and loss-of-function mutations in the gene are causative for Coffin-Lowry syndrome, an X-linked intellectual disability. Researchers therefore deploy this antibody when mapping RSK2 expression and phosphorylation across tissues, probing MAPK pathway activity in cell-culture and in vivo models, and characterizing neurological or developmental disease backgrounds.

The polyclonal format provides broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal reagent, which can be useful when studying post-translational modifications or expression in fixed tissue sections. Because the antibody is unconjugated, investigators select their own HRP, biotin, or fluorophore label and tailor detection chemistry to the assay at hand.

Recommended handling: aliquot upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use; for longer storage, freeze working aliquots at -20 °C. The reagent is intended for research use only.
