Anti-RPS6 (phospho-S240) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Ribosomal Protein S6 (RPS6) phosphorylated at Serine 240. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, and it reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Ribosomal Protein S6 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 240, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of RPS6 only when phosphorylated at Ser240. It runs at a molecular weight of approximately 29 kDa and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
