Anti-RPS6 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit and directed against RPS6, supplied as an unconjugated liquid reagent validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence. Reactivity has been demonstrated in human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunoglobulin isotype is IgG, and the reagent is purified by affinity chromatography.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 1–100 of human RPS6 (NP_001001.2). The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with an indicated molecular weight of 32 kDa. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot, 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is reported as lot specific.

Supporting validation data include Western blot of extracts from various cell lines at 1:1,000 dilution with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000 and 25 µg of lysate per lane, developed with an ECL Basic Kit for 90 s; immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human colon tissue at 1:100 dilution (40× lens) using microwave antigen retrieval in 10 mM Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9.0; and immunofluorescence in NIH/3T3 cells at 1:100 dilution (40× lens) with DAPI nuclear counterstain.
