Anti-RPS25 Antibody

RPS25 encodes a component of the small 40S ribosomal subunit and contributes to ribosome assembly and cytoplasmic protein synthesis. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent is raised against the human RPS25 target and is validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous protein in human cell and tissue lysates.

Investigators studying IRES-driven translation, ribosome biogenesis, and translational control use anti-RPS25 reagents to probe cap-independent initiation mechanisms and ribosomal protein stoichiometry. Published work has linked altered RPS25 expression to hepatocellular carcinoma and other proliferative disorders, making the antibody a useful reagent for cancer research workflows that screen ribosomal protein levels across tumor and matched normal samples. Because RPS25 is also studied in the context of Diamond-Blackfan anemia and other ribosomopathies, the reagent supports work on ribosomal protein haploinsufficiency and stress-induced translational remodeling.
