Anti-RPS2 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against RPS2 and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The reagent is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. According to the manufacturer, the immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 248–293 of human RPS2, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of RPS2 protein, which has a molecular weight of approximately 31 kDa.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity reported as greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Third-party listings describe the reagent as being of the IgG isotype.
