Rpn9 is a non-ATPase subunit of the 19S regulatory lid subcomplex of the 26S proteasome in Saccharomyces cerevisiae, where it contributes to ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation. This polyclonal reagent, raised in rabbit, recognizes the native Rpn9 protein and is validated for western blot and immunoprecipitation workflows. The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot and is reactive specifically with yeast samples. For handling, store the antibody refrigerated at 4 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. The Antibodies.com reagent is intended for research use only and supports studies on proteasome assembly, ubiquitin-proteasome pathway regulation, and protein quality control in yeast models.
