Anti-Rpn5 Antibody

The Anti-Rpn5 polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes Rpn5, a non-ATPase subunit of the 26S proteasome lid subcomplex in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Rpn5 contributes to proteasome assembly and to recognition of polyubiquitinated substrates, making this reagent useful for studies of ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis and proteasome integrity. Supplied as 100 µl of liquid IgG in an unconjugated format, the antibody is validated for western blot and immunoprecipitation workflows. It enables immunoprecipitation of native proteasome complexes from yeast lysates and supports western blot detection of Rpn5 across lid and holoenzyme fractions.
