The Antibodies.com Anti-Rpn1 polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot detection of Rpn1, a non-ATPase lid subunit of the 19S regulatory particle of the 26S proteasome in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Rpn1 functions as a scaffold that coordinates substrate recognition and ubiquitin-dependent delivery to the proteasome core.
Supplied as a liquid formulation in a 100 µl vial, the unconjugated IgG is suitable for probing yeast whole-cell lysates and proteasome-enriched fractions, where Rpn1 migrates at approximately 110 kDa. For best results, store aliquots refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use or frozen at -20 °C for longer storage; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This reagent is intended for research use only in studies of proteasomal regulation, ubiquitin-proteasome pathway flux, and protein turnover in yeast.
