Anti-RPL23A Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises RPL23A and is supplied as an unconjugated liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The target is the ribosomal protein L23a, with a reported molecular weight of 20 kDa.

The antibody has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, with recommended dilutions of WB 1:500–1:2,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, and ICC/IF 1:50–1:100. Reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–156 of human RPL23A (NP_000975.2), and the reagent is purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4°C, aliquoted upon delivery, and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.

RPL23A shows low tissue specificity and is localised in nucleoli fibrillar centres, the endoplasmic reticulum, and cytosol, encoded on chromosome 17.
