This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against human ribosomal protein L14 (RPL14), a conserved component of the cytoplasmic 60S large ribosomal subunit involved in ribosome assembly and protein translation. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated reagent, it is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence detection of endogenous RPL14 in human cells and tissues. Because altered RPL14 expression has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, and colorectal tumor samples, the reagent supports studies of ribosome biogenesis, translational control, and tumor biology. Researchers can probe steady-state RPL14 levels, follow its cytoplasmic and nucleolar localization, and track changes in expression under cellular stress, differentiation, or drug treatment. The host species is rabbit and clonality is polyclonal, so the reagent is compatible with standard anti-rabbit secondary detection workflows. Keep refrigerated for short-term use and aliquot the vial to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody activity. Intended for research use only.
