RPL13 is a structural component of the 60S large ribosomal subunit and participates in cytoplasmic translation. This unconjugated polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, recognizes endogenous RPL13 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

The reagent is provided as 100 µl of liquid stock and is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence. On western blot, RPL13 migrates near its predicted molecular weight of approximately 24 kDa, making it useful as a normalization target alongside GAPDH, β-actin, or other ribosomal proteins such as RPL19 and RPS6. In immunofluorescence, staining of paraformaldehyde-fixed cultured cells yields a cytoplasmic and nucleolar pattern that reflects the steady-state localization of assembled ribosomal subunits.

For western blot, dilute the antibody in PBS-T or TBST with BSA or non-fat milk as the blocking agent. For immunofluorescence, apply to fixed and permeabilized cells using standard detergent-based protocols. Store refrigerated and protect from light; aliquot upon arrival to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only.
