Produced by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a recombinant human RPGR (retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator) immunogen, also referred to by the synonyms RP3 and XLRP3. It is supplied at 50 µl per vial as an unconjugated preparation at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4 with 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol for cryoprotection; the recommended storage condition is –20 °C to preserve activity across freeze–thaw cycles. The antibody specifically detects the endogenous total pool of RPGR protein in samples from human, mouse, and rat origin, and has been validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. Host species is rabbit with polyclonal clonality, and the reagent is provided unconjugated to allow flexible downstream labelling with user-preferred reporters such as HRP, biotin, or fluorophores. Manufactured under the Antibodies.com catalogue range for primary antibodies and distributed through AFMS, this polyclonal RPGR antibody is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications; researchers working on X-linked retinitis pigmentosa, ciliary function, or photoreceptor biology can therefore rely on it to probe RPGR expression patterns across both rodent and human model systems with consistent batch-to-batch specificity.
