This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is directed against ROS1 (also referred to as ROS or c-ros) when phosphorylated at tyrosine 2114, a documented autophosphorylation site within the C-terminal region of this receptor tyrosine kinase. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, in a 100 µl vial, and is validated for Western Blot detection of the activated kinase in human, mouse, and rat samples.

ROS1 is a single-pass transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase whose ligand-independent activation, often driven by chromosomal rearrangement, generates constitutive phosphorylation events including at Y2114. Researchers studying oncogenic signaling in non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors rely on phospho-specific ROS1 antibodies to confirm kinase activation downstream of ROS1 fusions, to monitor pathway engagement in cell line models, and to compare basal versus stimulated phosphorylation in treated lysates. The unconjugated polyclonal format allows the antibody to be paired with a secondary reporter of choice and supports broad epitope coverage around the phospho-Y2114 motif for clear band detection on Western Blot membranes.
