This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the nuclear receptor RORγ, a transcription factor central to Th17 cell differentiation, IL-17 cytokine expression, and lymphoid tissue development. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of affinity-purified IgG at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is validated for Western blot detection.

RORγ has gained significant attention in immunology research as a driver of pro-inflammatory Th17 pathways linked to psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, and certain T-cell lymphomas. Investigators studying circadian biology and small-molecule RORγ antagonists also rely on consistent antibody reagents to track receptor expression and nuclear translocation. The reagent has been tested for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational studies that compare receptor behaviour across these three species.

The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with secondary reporters chosen by the end user. For short-term storage, keep the vial refrigerated; for longer intervals, aliquot and freeze to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal nature provides multiple epitope coverage, useful when probing full-length RORγ isoforms or detecting low-abundance targets in lysates prepared from primary immune cells or transfected lines.
